he Strunjan hinterland is dotted with picturesque Istrian villages. In the company of our event's co-ordinators, our guests will discover interesting things which they would not normally find themselves. They can visit an oil mill where they press olives, as well as a genuine, cosy Istrian inn, and the church in Krkavce - and get to see life as it once was. A boat trip or a walk to one of the local towns, or a visit to the Secovlje saltpans, a day trip to Trieste with the famous Miramar castle, or even a two-hour catamaran to Venice are things our guests never forget.
Not far from Strunjan - and certainly within walking distance for the intrepid and more robust guest - are the towns of Piran, Portoroz, Izola and Koper.
