The centrepiece of the lake is a beautiful Bled-Island on which stands the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Mary built in the 15th Century where your weddings can be held. In the background perched on a 130-foot cliff proudly stands Bled Castle known to be at least 1000 years old!
