The hotel is located at the north side on the island Šipan in the very South of Croatia, a district of Dubrovnik and is only 9 sea miles off the mainland. Once an olive oil factory, the hotel rests at the head of a long bay facing the beautiful landscape of the Elaphite islands.
Šipan is an experience hard to find anywhere else in the Mediterranean, a place for true originality and romance, an experience of the real Croatia, unspoiled by mass-tourism and its consequences.
Once an olive oil factory, the hotel rests at the head of a long bay facing the beautiful landscape of islands that is so characteristic for the Croatian sea. The house was turned into a hotel in 1979 and renovated in 2005. Most of the 84 rooms (all en-suite) have beautiful views either to the sea or to the picturesque village (most buildings which are dating back to the renaissance).
The stunning location of the house, at the head of a 2.5-kilometre deep bay will make your holiday an unforgettable experience. You will be waking up to the sound of crickets, the fragrant blossoms of rosemary and the sea and end the day with stunning sunsets that redden the sky and the mountains.
